Three day long 27th State Sub Junior, Junior and 51st senior swimming championship will start from tomorrow at Bimal Sinha Swimming Pool.
The championship will be inaugurated by Sports minister Sahid Choudhury. Among the other dignitaries Gomati district assistant sabhadhipati Din Bandhu Sen, MLA Madhab Saha, Deputy Director Chanchal Majumder, Secretary of Tripura Sports Council Dilip Chakraborty, State Swimming association president Subal Rudra, Secretary Ranjit Chakraborty remained present.
Though the tournament will be inaugurated at 6.00 pm but the championship will start from 5.00 pm. In this state meet total 350 swimmers will take part from 6 districts along with Tripura Sports school, Sai Sag, BSF and Tripura Police.
Organzing committee secretary Pramod Paul urged to all to extend their helping hands for the smooth conduct of this championship. Bimal Sinha Swimming Pool also being decorated for this three day long championship.
