A parliamentary panel is on a three-day visit of the northeastern states to study the functioning of the 10 tribal autonomous district councils (TADC) in Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Tripura.
Notably, the five-member Parliamentary Committee headed by Rajya Sabha member Anand Sharma met as many as 27 tribal organisations and institutions along with the representatives of the KHADC, GHADC and JHADC.
