A shocking incident has rocked the temple town of Puri, where an 80-year-old senior servitor of the Jagannath Temple, Jagannath Dixit, was allegedly murdered under mysterious circumstances.

The Odisha government has suspended Dhiman Chakma, a 2021 batch IAS officer of the Odisha cadre, following his arrest by the state's Vigilance Department on alleged corruption charges, according to an order issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department.

A 2021-batch IAS officer of the Odisha cadre, Dhiman Chakma, arrested by the Odisha Vigilance after he was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 10 lakh from a local businessman on Sunday night, was sent to judicial custody by a local court in Kalahandi on Monday.
