In between huge enthusiasm and excitement West district level Swimming competition held yesterday while from September 14 at Udaipur Bimal Singha Swimming Pool, State level swimming competition will get underway which will continue till September 16.
For this upcoming state event, West district level selection camp held at Kahayerpur swimming pool.
150 swimmers took part in the camp and with them total 59 events have been held. Champion and Runner up players from each event have been qualified for the state event.
In the morning the competition has been inaugurated by Deputy Speaker of State Assembly Pabitra Kar also secretary of state swimming association Ranjit Chakraborty remained present along with others.
