Press Club mourns on death of Journo Ranjit Debnath

Agartala Press Club expressed deep mourns on death of veteran Journalist Ranjit Debnath. Journalist Debnath was correspondent of Daink Sambad from Charilam for many years.

The press club expected that may his soul could live in peace and expected deep mourn and sympathy for the bereaved family. Late Journalist Debnath was 63 at the time of death. He breathed his last at G.B. Hospital at night on Friday last.

President of Agartala Press Club Subal Kumar Dey, General Secretary Pranab Sarkar , Journalist Debasish Majumder, Uttam Chakraborty expressed their last tribute to Ranjit Debnath when his body was brought to Agartala Press Club today. 

Besides all the members of Bishalgarh Press Club, SDPO R. Darlong, ASI Bijoy Das, Bimal Baidya  offered floral tribute to late journalist when the body reached at the premises of Bishalgarh Police Station. Besides teachers of a private school and businessmen of Charilam Bazar offered tribute to Late Debnath.

At last his body was taken to his old house. Late Debnath achieved fame as writer and he wrote poems, drama and short poetry. He was also famous for his handwriting and he used to write hand written certificates provided by Tripura University.
