CPI (ML) has submitted a memorandum to DM of Gomati with an appeal to prevent conspiracy of spreading pre-planned communal violence at Uttar Maharani Gram Panchayat of R.K. Pur Police Station today.
In the memorandum CPI (ML) alleged that Md. Mihir Uddin Ahamed, a private tutor was beaten up with lathi etc. by a gang of 6 to 7 persons led by Narayan Das of adjacent Chaygharia village at 7:45 p.m. on December 11. Some well wiser people of locality saved him at the time of beating. But Ahamed could not file any complain at the police station in fear of life threat by the attackers. Again a gang of 6 to 7 persons led by Narayan Das beat Md. Akchir Mia at Hirapur Bazar at 6:30 p.m. yesterday. As a result he injured seriously and his eye was affected in the incident. He was shifted from Tepania to G.B. Hospital at night. After the incident local people of Hirapur staged a strong protest against the violence at Bazar area. As a result a tension created in the locality.
CPI (ML) claimed that a pre-planned conspiracy is working behind both the incidents at the mixed habitat area of Uttar Maharani and Hirapur. The party alleged that Narayan Das and his companions are being sheltered and encouraged by ruling BJP and RSS during last 8 to 9 months and continuing violence in the area. At present an effort is going on to harass the injured person by filing false case against them at the police station instead of filing case against the real miscreants and criminals. The initiative in turn increasing tension at the area and helping the conspiracy of destabilizing peace and harmony at the mixed habitat area of different community.
CPI (ML) demanded intervention of DM to conduct impartial investigation of the incident and to maintain peace and harmony at the area by arresting real miscreants.
