When the Assam government along with others in the Northeastern region of the country has come up with the regularization of their Sarba Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) teachers, the state Tripura has been backtracking from the same since decade, and the deprived SSA teachers has been demanding for it and has knocked the door of concerned authorities many a times.
However, the SSA teachers association on Monday has staged a rally in and around the capital town reiterating their demand of job regularization. The association on Monday has also threatened the state government for hunger strike until death if their demands are not fulfilled.
The association giving an ultimatum to the state government for its response in this regard has announced for the hunger strike from August.
