On the occasion an awareness seminar was organized at Chinibagan S.B. School. Besides, voluntary labour for toilet construction, cleanliness campaign at Chinibagan Bazar, plantation of sapling and rally with school students organized there.
DM Sandip R. Rathore, social worker Ranjan Sinha, Nitish Dey, Kaberi Sinha, BDO of Gournagar Block Binay Bhusan Das were present among distinguished guests. They also participated in all programmes.
During speech the guests stressed on necessity of cleanliness to get rid of different diseases and advised the students to keep themselves clean to prevent diseases.
Meanwhile cleanliness campaign organized as a part of Swachha Bharat Abhijan with initiative of Bharatiya Majdoor Sangha at Unakoti District Hospital.
The executive members and general members of the sangha participated in cleaning garbage in and outside of the hospital today. District Committee president of BJP Ranjan Sinha was present during the campaign.
The official members of BMS distributed sweets among the patients after completion of the campaign.
