The consumers of Cable TV alleged that Tripureswari Satellite Link (TSL) of Udaipur subdivision allegedly does not provide money receipt to the customers after selling Set Top Box and not providing any document of warranty after installing the set top box.
As a result people have to repair set top box with their own cost when it goes out of order within one year.
The consumers also alleged that TCL authority is charging high price for set top box as the machine is not available in the open market.
Meanwhile 100 percent cable consumers installed set top box. Although, they raised question on quality of the machines. They demanded intervention of DM for investigation of complains on set top box.
Meanwhile owners of TCL admitted that money receipt not provided after selling set top box at some places. But they denied allegation of not repairing within one year.
The authority also said that the set top boxes provided to the consumers after discussion with DM and SDM. They also assured to solve problems after getting information from consumers.
