As the nation is putting more impetus to the protest against the Pulwama terror attack, the former Chief Minister of Tripura, currently the opposition leader Manik Sarkar finds security lapse by the Indian side over the attack and demanded the government at the centre to prove this and find the loopholes that lead to the attack and let the martyred Jawans fell prey into this cowardly act by foreign militants on Thursday last.
"As I have read in series of news papers, I found that the intelligence report prior the attack was avoided by the security agency of the country," adding to this Sarkar said, "I think the cause and the loopholes are required to be found at the earliest prior any further occurrence of such bloodshed in the country."
Mr. Sarkar was in opinion that there is an attempt through this attack to weaken the unity among the people of the country.
Sarkar said, "It has to be examined what additional security measures have been taken during movement of such a big convoy of security personnel."
However, the CPI-M on Saturday last organized a silent protest procession in Agartala against the Pulwama terrorist attack. The procession started from the Rabindra centenary hall area and went through the streets of the capital city and concluded at the Paradise Chowmuhani area.
Hundreds of CPI-M cadres with banners protesting against terrorism and standing by the side of the families of the martyr’s soldiers went through the street. Manik Sarkar along with former ministers of the state and other top leaders of the CPIM party joined the rally to pay homage to the martyred soldiers.
