National Junior Swimming Event: Tripura ends day 2 without medal

AGARTALA:

Tripura swimmers today provided some disappointment performance and went medal less in the second day also in the ongoing 44th National Junior Swimming tournament at Pune.

Just like the opening day yesterday, today also the swimmers provided some average performances. In the 4x50 meter relay Tripura ended in the 10th position while in the 4x100 meter relay also Tripura swimmers failed drastically.

At the end of today’s contest from Pune, Ranjit Chakraborty, secretary of State swimming association said that some tough battle is going around in the tournament as top swimmers from across the country have been performing.

Tripura swimmers also trying their best as their timings have been much better from the state event. He was seemed to be happy over the performances from the swimmers.
