Administrative authority of Khowai Subdivision has taken initiative to stop illegal activity for providing Aadhar card earlier. Sources said that a secret racket is engaged in providing Adhar card earlier in exchange of money. After publication of the news the officials of SDM office got true fact behind the report. They discovered the way how the racket is continuing the illegal activity.
The members of the racket give date to the persons for taking photograph of Aadhar card who come in queue after 40 persons everyday. Because taking photograph more than 40 persons is not possible in one day.
Administration sources said that they use to proceed the date of providing Aadhar by controlling officials of Aadhar with attractive offer. Some deed writers also involved with the racket. A delegation of administration got the information of proceeding serial number of Aadhar.
SDM said, from now on the officials will take photograph along with information. They will also enroll the names of the aspirants of Aadhar. At the same time the officials of administration will write down the serial number and date in office register. The employees involved with Aadhar have been instructed by the administration to check name and address of the candidates once and again.
