The Minister of state power and agriculture welfare minister Ratan Lal Nath on Thursday claimed that the government has set a target for zero unemployment rate in the state, while the state presently records only 3.0% unemployment rate.
Addressing a press conference here in the conference hall of the civil secretariat, the minister informed that according to the statement of the Union Minister of Labour and Employment Bhupendra Yadav laid in the table of the house of the parliament, Tripura records 3.0% unemployment rate, while at least 30 states out of the 37 states including the union territories are in bad shape in terms unemployment rate.
“The government, which is contemplating to come down to zero in terms of unemployment rate, is progressing fast in terms of development in all key sectors,” he told reporters.
