A Bicycle rally has been organized today on the occasion of the foundation day of ONGC as in the morning at 6.00 pm the race has been inaugurated by G.K Singha Roy, Asset Manager of ONGC in both Men and Women section. The Men’s race was consisted of a distance of 30 KM.
In the Men’s category Subrata Das secured the top slot as he took 47 minutes and 14 seconds while Akbar Khan and Tapan Sarkar secured the next two places respectively.
The Women’s race has been consisted of 15 KM where Pinki Ghosh secured the top slot with a time of 26 minutes and 48 seconds.
While the second and third places have been grabbed by Jayasree Das and Rishma Sarkar respectively.
Top three place holders in both the category have been awarded with Rs 10,000, Rs 5,000 and Rs 3,000 respectively. Total 256 athletes in both categories took part in this tournament.
