National Junior Under 19 Girl’s Handball tournament will start from October 10and will continue till October 15. This year the tournament will be held at Karnataka and in the tournament a team from Tripura will also take part.
Regarding the tournament to form the team a selection camp has been held at Ramthakur Boy’s school field. Total 45 girls from Sadar, Jirania, Manu Valley, Mohanpur and Khowai took part in the camp and among them 16 have been selected for the tournament as with them the Tripura team also formed.
Tripura team: Gouri Malakar, Sangita Das, Jhuma Rabi Das, Rakhi Begam, Priyanka Das, Bipasa Sarkar, Priti Mogor, Babli Bhattacharjee, Rimi Sarkar, Jui Sarkar, Runa Dhar and Kabita Sarkar.
