Governor Prof Kaptan Singh Solanki stressed on the need of preservation of folk culture and other related activities which are on the verge of extinction.
The Governor was speaking at a national level seminar on Folk culture today at Santirbazar Degree College. The event was organized in collaboration with Moulana Abdul Kalam Ajad of Asian.
Governor inaugurated the two days seminar at the premises of the college by lighting lamp at 11-30 a.m.
Among others MLA Arun Chandra Bhowmik, Regional Director Dr. Kiran Sankar Chakraborty, Principal –in- charge of the college Dr. Haradhan Saha were present among distinguished guests in the seminar.
