In a significant development the Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy handed over appointment offers to 10 individuals who successfully secured the coveted position of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) in the Directorate of Treasuries under the Ministry of Finance. The recruitment for these Group-C posts was conducted through the Joint Recruitment Board Tripura (JRBT).
Addressing the selected candidates, Minister Roy emphasized the state government's commitment to expediting the recruitment process for Group-C positions through JRBT. He disclosed that the government has initiated the recruitment process for a total of 1,980 Group-C posts, with 10 individuals receiving their offers today as part of the ongoing phased recruitment efforts.
Minister Roy highlighted the government's dedication to accelerating development initiatives and strengthening administrative functions. The Additional Secretary of the Finance Department, Akinchan Sarkar, joined the Finance Minister in congratulating the recruits. Officials from related departments were also present during the event.
The Finance Minister expressed his confidence in the newly appointed LDCs and encouraged them to contribute effectively to the Directorate of Treasuries' objectives under the Ministry of Finance. This strategic move is expected to bolster the workforce and enhance efficiency in the financial operations of the state.
