The state tourism minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Friday chaired a high level meeting with the local MLAs and officials at Eden Tourist Lodge conference hall and expressed his concern over the bombing incident at Jampui Hills, which damaged tourism infrastructures.
The Minister said that multiple constriction works and infrastructures were damaged after some unknown miscreants blasted bombs along the bordering area on May 28 last.
Local MLA, senior administrative and police officials including the District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police, the Secretary and Director of the Tourism Department, public representatives, and community leaders were present in the meeting.
The minister has instructed to identify the culprits and take strict measures against them for causing havoc along the bordering area at Jampui Hills.
