At least three Bangladeshi nationals including a minor were detained by the Railway Police from Dharmanagar Railway Station in Tripura’s North District on Tuesday late night while they were enroute to West Bengal in search of work.
According to the police, the three Bangladeshi nationals including 2 women and a child had illegally entered the India territory from Bangladesh to travel to Sealdah in West Bengal.
Police sources revealed that these three Bangladeshi nationals, who had illegally entered Indian territory, were apprehended in Tripura while heading towards Sealdah in West Bengal.
The detained were identified as Salma Begum (23) and Tahira Begum (42), along with a minor girl named Samina. All are residents of Amtali village in the Moulviganj police station under the Basirhat district. The GRP handed them over to Tripura Police on Tuesday last
