Tripura government has set a target to connect all households with power by March 31. The state Deputy Chief Minister who also holds the power portfolio Jishnu Dev Verma on Thursday said, “Work for connecting all households with power supply under the Saubhagya Yojna shall be completed by March 31.”
He said, “The Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited (TSECL) is working to dispatch power supply with all advanced method and technologies.” The power minister today inaugurated the newly built power sub-station of 132/33 KV at Kamalpur.
“Tripura government has increased the insurance coverage for the linemen from Rs. 3 lakhs to the maximum coverage of Rs. 10 lakhs,” said Jishnu.
