Teliamura Merchants Association demanded intervention of Chief Minister to reduce suffering of people due to continuation of Assam Agartala Road and Railway blockade by IPFT since July 10.
In a memorandum submitted to Chief Minister TMA alleged that an intolerable situation has been created at Teliamura and adjacent areas due to lack of baby food, milk, medicine and essential commodities.
All businessman and traders are incurring huge financial loss due to the blockade. TMA also requested to Chief Minister not to harass any businessman about Goods and Service Tax (GST).
Considering all the above matters TMA demanded to take necessary action to make A.A. Road free from blockade.
