AMBASSA:

All the inhabitants flood relief camp at Ambassa have not been affected by flood. Many of them have gone to the relief camp receive assistance from government. So it is necessary to verify the damage occurred in each and every family in the recent flood.

Sources said that most of the dwellers of TRTC Para, Ambedkar Nagar have set up their house by occupying tilla land of Forest department and they are trying to increase occupied area by cutting tilla land. Each and every family is supporter of any political party. Many of them have been affected by the recent flood. But the least affected families also went to the relief camp.

It is clear that many families have been affected in the competition of increasing land by cutting tilla land of TRTC and Forest department.

Sources said that drainage system of Municipal Council area is being collapsed by the competition of increasing land at TRTC area. Heap of soil is closing the drains and depositing on National Highway at 1 to 2 ft thickness. At last the Municipal Council had to spent lakhs of rupees to clean the soil on the road to solve the problem created by the people. It is the main reason of flood which affected some families as a result of illegally occupying land by some families.

Our correspondent reported that some of the families went to the relief camp to get government help who are also engaged in business from morning to night. So it is necessary to assess the loss incurred by each and every family.
