Person who was declared dead comes sleeping alive

AGARTALA:

In a weird incident, a person who was declared dead at Khowai district hospital turned out to be alive once his doctor son discovered his father’s pulse rate was little over than usual. The incident sparked off massive repercussions in the area and also made people raise questions on the existing healthcare system in the hospitals.

Sources said, Tarun Kumar Nag (52) a school teacher by profession was rushed to Khowai district hospital after he developed some health complexities. After an hour, the on duty doctor declared him dead and also handed over the death certificate to his kins.

But, in utter surprise to all, Tarun’s doctor son Trideep Nag discovered that his father was alive and his pulse rate was little over than usual. Nag rushed to his hometown on hearing the news of his father’s demise. Nag entered the hospital donning a PPE kit. He started treating his father and soon discovered that there was high pulse movement.

“Usually the pulse movement remains 72 but in my father’s case, it was 123 to 125. Soon, I have asked the doctors to refer him following all the necessary paper works and he has been released forthwith”, said Tridip.

The patient had been then brought to GBP hospital where he was now under treatment. Nag also regretted the attitude of doctors in the hospital as none extended help while he was treating his father.
