Rajib Bhattacharya, the BJP Pradesh President, declared on Tuesday that the security deposits of opposition parties would be forfeited, signaling widespread acceptance of BJP candidates for both the upcoming Lok Sabha and by-elections.
Bhattacharya's announcement came following his active participation in a door-to-door campaign in support of Dipak Majumder, the BJP's candidate for the 7-Ramnagar Assembly Constituency.
He emphasized the significance of the April 19th elections, featuring former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb and Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder as BJP contenders.
"I visited Ramnagar today to canvas support for Dipak Majumder, our candidate. The overwhelming response from the people assures me of victory not only in the Lok Sabha polls but also in the 7-Ramnagar Assembly Constituency. The populace has embraced our candidates, and it's evident that opposition deposits will be lost. The enthusiasm among the people is palpable. Prime Minister Modi remains the only choice. The INDI alliance is ineffective and powerless," Bhattacharya affirmed.
