In an incident of road mishap on person injured and shifted to G.B. Hospital today who was knocked down by a car at Teliamura.
Sources said that a Maruti car rushed to Dakhshin Bazar of Teliamura at high speed at about 5 p.m. today. At first the car dashed a Pulser bike and pushed it up to 100 meter and then it dashed one pedestrian Amal Das (45). As a result the person injured seriously. Later the businessman of the market shifted him to Teliamura Hospital. Observing his serious condition the doctors referred him to G.B. Hospital.
On being informed police reached at the spot and seized the car and bike. Besides, police detained one person who was inside the car. However the driver of the car absconded after the incident.
