Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Saturday launched 'Mukhya Mantri Shustha Shoishob, Shustha Kaishor Abhiyan 3.0' here at Agartala and said that the government and the health department are continuously working to deliver the benefits of health services to every citizen of the state.
The National Health Mission in collaboration with the State Health and Family Welfare department had org aised the launching ceremony of the Abhiyan here at Agartala Rabindra Bhawan on Saturday. The campaign officially launched by the Chief Minister today will begin from September 5 and will last till September 15.
From September 5 to 8, children will be administered with various medicines in various colleges including government, private, semi-government schools, Anganwadi centers, degree, technical, polytechnic and other colleges, said Dr. Saha.
He informed that from September 9 to September 15, Anganwadi workers and Asha workers will go door to door to feed deworming medicine to children and distribute various medicines as part of the campaign.
Chief Secretary J. K. Sinha, Director of Social Welfare & Social Education Dr. Sidharth Shiv Jaiswal, Director of School Education department Chandni Chandran also spoke on the occasion.
