The passengers of Agartala –Shilchar Train are very much annoyed by the attack of thieves during journey. Meanwhile people caught red handed a mobile phone thief at Churaibari today and handed over him to police.
The name of the thief is Amir Hossen (25). But his companions fled away. Amir is involved in mobile theft at Churaibari and Panisagar stations.
The first incident took place at Panisagar Rail Station. The gang of thieves snatched a smart phone of Appo Company from Shampa Pal. Meanwhile the incident publicized. In the meantime Amir tried to flee after stealing another mobile at Churaibari Station. But he was caught red handed by people when he was fleeing.
Later he was handed over to police after beating by people. Meanwhile the gang fled away. The passengers alleged that harassment by thieves by snatching money and mobile is increasing day by day. The local passengers are becoming bankrupt while Rail Police is still in hibernation.
