Two workers died and three sustained injury on Thursday after a part of soil collapsed from the Atharamura Hill.
The incident took place at 47 miles area along Assam-Agartala National Highway under Munsiakami police station on Thursday morning at around 11 am while the workers were working on the newly constructed drain in the foot of Atharomura hill range.
Alarmed by the incident, the fire crews of Teliamura rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies of two labours identified as Hirupa Bardola (22) resident of Assam and another Swapan Majumder(42) of Udaipur.
According to the report three other workers sustained minor injuries in the incident.
