Media and MLAs of Dhalai district have not been invited at the first ever Jana Darbar held at DM Office of Dhalai on September 28.
DM Bikash Singh, Additional DM Dilip Kumar Chakma and District level officers of different government departments were present in the Jana Darbar. The administration conducted huge publicity of the programme to attract attention of common people. In spite of that the working journalists excluded from the list of invitation at the first ever programme of Jana Darbar. Even the local MLA and six other MLAs of the district have not been invited at Darbar.
On being asked about the programme MLA Parimal Debbarma said that he had not notice about Jana darbar. He had not joined in the Darbar in spite of getting invitation. As a result all information about Jana Darbar remained out of reach to common people.
