Along with the rest of the world, Tripura on Sunday observed World Tuberculosis Day through a brief programme here at Agartala Raj Bhavan.
Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu inaugurated the programme here at Agartala Raj Bhavan and stressed on generating more awareness about TB. He called for a collective effort in ending the TB disease and make the state free from TB.
“The theme of World TB Day 2024- ‘Yes! We can end TB!’ gives a message that getting back on track to turn the tide against the TB epidemic is possible through leadership, treatment and awareness” said Nallu. During the event, the Governor distributed food baskets to 2 TB patients.
