Dharmanagar boy earns 'blood boy' tag; brings IT to serve blood seekers in real time

AGARTALA:

Niharendu Debnath, a social worker of Dharmanagar’s Dewanpasha earned the tag of “blood boy” for his timely and most of time unfailed services to the blood seekers of his area.

It is believed that Niharendu, the founding member of Swami Vivekananda Samajsebi Sangha, never failed to arrange blood units for the patients. Till now, his organization through it’s whatsapp blood donor group had arranged over thousand blood units for the seekers. And to go an extra mile in his novel services, his organization had decided to bring in IT for more effective and real time services.

Prthviraj Nath, a software engineer, had joined hands with Niharendu and developed a mobile app, now available in Google Playstore, to resolve the issues.

The mobile app named eBloodSeva had been designed in such a way that anyone could access contacts of blood donors as per requirement and then could also donate blood voluntarily. His initiatives received wide appreciation from the locals of Dewanpaha, in fact, Dharmangar as a whole.
