BJP spokesperson Nabendu Bhattacharya asserted that opposition parties, including CPIM and Congress, are poised to secure less than 1 lakh votes in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Tripura.
Bhattacharya highlighted that Congress, opting not to field candidates in the East Tripura seat, indirectly provides an opportunity for the Left Front to contest from that constituency.
Expressing skepticism about the existence of an opposition alliance in Tripura, Bhattacharya emphasized the dwindling support for opposition parties. He underlined that the BJP's commitment extends beyond electoral politics to encompass societal development and the advancement of humanity.
Critiquing Congress leadership in Tripura, Bhattacharya accused them of failing to foster unity within the party. He criticized their handling of issues such as the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), challenging their understanding of the law's intricacies and accusing them of spreading misinformation.
Bhattacharya also dismissed the opposition's influence over internal BJP affairs, asserting that the opposition would not dictate the party's decisions regarding appointments or positions.
