Putting the state of Tripura to alert more 12 Border Security Force (BSF) jawans in the state’s Dhalai district is tested Corona positive. Earlier 2 Jawans were tested positive in the district – classified as green zone of corona lockdown by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) earlier on Friday.
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb this evening at 09:44 PM took on to his tweeter handle to confirm this. He stated, “12 persons from 138th BSF unit, of Ambassa found #COVID19 positive.”
According to the report, the 12 BSF jawans were found to be in contact with the 2 jawans who were tested positive earlier on Saturday afternoon.
However, the total corona positive cases in the state rested at 16 as of Sunday night 10:03 PM, of which 2 were discharged earlier after successive recovery. Active cases now rested at 14 with the 12 fresh positive cases along with 2 Jawans tested positive earlier on Saturday.
Meantime, the chief minister stated in his tweeter handle, “Government has already arranged proper medical facilities at the Unit in Ambassa. Team of specialised doctors is taking proper care of the patients.”
Mr. Deb urged upon the people of this state not to panic and abide by the central and state guidelines of COVID-19 lockdown.
