Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb to inaugurate the 2-day long festival of Diwali in Tripura Sundari temple at Udaipur in Gomati district of the state on November 4.
Like every year, the Diwali festival will be celebrated this year in the age-old temple, where the traditional Kali Puja will be performed.
According to the press communiqué, at least 750 shops would be opened in this year's fair. On the occasion of the fair, cultural programs with state and foreign artists will be performed on the cultural stage. Exhibition pavilions of different departments will be opened at the fair. Arrangements have been made to show the fair live through LED screens so that visitors from far and wide can enjoy the fair.
Elaborate security arrangements have been made to cover the temple premise during the festival to restrict untoward incidents.
