BSF 47th Battalion provided filter for drinking water, electric motor, constructed new water tank and repaired the 100 bedded hostel building for the students of Kasturba Gandhi Girls School at Karbook Subdivision as a part of civic action programme of the battalion.
Commandant of BSF 47 Battalion Rajesh Kumar Sahay joined the programme on October 26 after the visit of Border area. He visited the school and noted down the problem of the school after while speaking with students and teachers of the school.
He assured to provide school bag and umbrella on necessity for the students of the school in future.
Among others Assistant Commandant A. S. Rawat, Inspector Ved Prakash were present in the programme.
