A CCTV footage of UCO bank Teliamura branch revealed that a contractual employee of the branch was stealing money from the depositors while discharging duty at the bank.
The employee Uttam Debnath was caught red-handed after one Surendra Lal Ray challenged that the money deposited in his account was less than the amount he had sent through his worker.
The Branch manager checked the CCTV footage and found out that Uttam was the man. However, no FIRs had been registered till now, after passage of 24 hours of the incident.
