The Jawans of BSF detained four smugglers involved in smuggling of Agar wood and handed over them to police at Kadamtala Police Station of Dharmanagar yesterday.
BSF detained them handed over the smugglers to Forest Department of Churaibari when they were passing Agar tree through barbed fencing of Indo –Bangla border yesterday.
The detained persons are Samsul Haqu. Aminul Haqu, Nazrul Haqu and Fakul Haqu. Later they were handed over to police of Kadamtala Police Station.
Police filed a case at Kadamtala Police Station under case no 13/19 and Section 379/411 of IPC. They will be produced in the court tomorrow.
