Block Congress president of Manughat Basudeb Das died after suffering from illness today.
He was just 55 at the time of death. He was Block Congress president for last eight years.
Earlier he was District Congress president of Kailashahar. Besides he was a well known businessman of Manughat.
On being informed leaders of Congress, CPI-M and TMC rushed to house and offered floral tribute to him. Congress leader and PCC member Sukesh Dutta, MDC Matilal Sukla Baidya and TMC leader Arun Das offered floral tribute to him.
They expressed deep mourn for him and sympathy for the family members.
