Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Saturday assured of gifting two Lok Sabha seats of the state to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the ensuing election.
Dr. Saha was addressing a workshop on ‘Booth Sashaktikaran Abhiyan’ in presence of BJP National Secretary Dr Asha Lakra on Saturday here at Agartala Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan. The event was organised in view of strengthening the booth-level party functionaries for the ensuing Lok Sabha election. MP Rebati Tripura, MP Biplab Kumar Deb, former Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Verma and other senior leaders were present at the event.
“We are determined to gift two Lotus from Tripura to Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi ji in the LS polls to strengthen his hands for a stronger & prosperous India,” he said.
He expressed hope that the party workers will play a big role in strengthening the organisation in order to achieve the goal of winning both the Lok Sabha seats.
Meanwhile, the BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee said, “PM Modi has helped the BJP win the 2023 assembly election in all possible ways. Now it’s time for us to gift me the two LS seats to him and bring the BJP into power for the third consecutive term.”
