During his first visit at Gandacherra as Chief Minister, Biplab Kumar Deb today suspends the Block Development Officer (BDO) of Dumburnagar RD Block and two other concerned employees on negligence in duty.
The BDO was identified as Pradip Debbarma. The Chief Minister today visited Gandacherra by chopper to sit for a review meeting with the concerned officials there.
Putting a stern warning to other employees there, CM directed the DM of Dhalai district Vikas Singh to suspend the officials with an immediate effect.
The suspension has actually come up after the chief minister visited the Bhagirathpara ADC village and witnessed dilapidated condition of sanitation system there.
Deeply upset by the negligence on duty, Deb took an initiative to remove the officials.
However, this perhaps has come up as part of the ongoing innings of 'Good Governance' led by Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb.
