Addressing the party gathering the former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar deb said that BJP has sought opinions and suggestions from people ahead of preparing its manifesto for the Parliamentary elections. Suggestions have been sought from youths, women, farmers, and people from all walks of society for overall development, development of infrastructure, and development of the country, he added.
Deb also appealed to leaders and supporters of the Opposition CPI(M), Congress, and other political parties to offer their suggestions.
Meanwhile, the BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharya said that the party would strive to win in all of the over 3,000 election booths in the state.
Attacking the Opposition CPI-M, Bhattacharya said, “The CPI(M) ruled the state for 25 years. They spoke about poor people but did nothing for them. I challenge them to a debate. I’m ready. Let them say what they did in 25 years and we shall talk about what we did in the last six years.”
