Executive Committee of Ambassa Bazar Byabsayi Samiti has decided to make Ambassa free from the grip of addiction. The samiti has decided to exclude the name of hotels, gold traders, tea sellers and pan sellers from the voter list of ABBS who are selling liquor and other drugs illegally.
The businessman and traders will be included in the list whose name already entered in the register of police and produced in the court. The businessmen will not get the valid membership of the samiti whose names are involved with such cases.
Besides ABBS will take strong action against any businessman if police get any drug or liquor from the shop of the businessman after raid.
Meanwhile Ambassa Bazar Samiti has served a notification that the businessmen will not get membership of the Samiti who are involved in selling contraband items including ganja, liquor, brown sugar, tablet, aphim, corex, phensydil.
From information it revealed that liquor and drug items are available pan shops, tea stalls, gold jewelry shops, medicine and many other shops year after year. Besides, phesidyl, corex, tablet, injection, syringe etc. are being sold every day from a medicine store of Madhya Bazar. Police and official members of Bazar Samiti are quite aware about the fact. In spite of that no protest raised and no action has been taken against the businessmen. As a result entire Dhali district is under the grip of addiction.
