The new comers joined in the party at an open meeting of BJP held at Pitra Bazar. MLA of Bagma constituency Rampada Jamatia attended as chief orator of the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion Jamatia discussed about welfare projects introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On the occasion 474 local voters joined BJP with initiative of MLA Rampada Jamatia and Yuba Morcha leaving CPM and Congress. Besides, 74 voters joined BJP with initiative of Yuba Morcha from Kupilong area.
Among others Yuba Morcha president of Gomati district Biplab Deb, Ram Chandra Debnath, Titan Paul, Jawharlal Nandi were present in both the meetings along with MLA Jamatia.
