In a major boost to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Manu, Dhalai district ahead of ADC polls, as many 305 members of 103 families of Left parties and IPFT joined BJP in the presence of Member of Parliament Rebati Tripura today.
Speaking with our reporter, Rebati confirmed the news and said the new members who joined the party offered to convert the local communist party and IPFT to the BJP. “today at least 305 CPI(M) and IPFT members joined BJP . We welcomed them,” Rebati said.
“The newly joined CPI(M) and IPFT workers offered their party office to BJP and we are going to convert the CPI(M) local office to BJP office in the coming days”, the newly joined members said.
