Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Saturday emphasized the crucial role of teachers in the successful implementation of the National Education Policy, stating that teachers are the backbone of the nation.

In a significant drive against narcotics, Tripura Police have arrested three persons and sezied Yaba tablets worth Rs 2.28 Crore from Durgachowmuhani village under Dhalai District of Tripura.
