West district football tournament will be held on Friday while West district football event in Under 14 girl’s section will be held tomorrow as both the tournament will be held at Gandhigram School field.
16 members team in both the sections have been formed today as Municipal Block school sports board secretary Satya Ghosh announced the news.
On the other hand Municipal Block today became Sadar subdivision champion as in Under 14 category they defeated Dukli Block by a huge margin of 5-0. The match was held at Swami Vivekananda stadium where from the beginning Municipal block played well.
Viky Debbarma scored two goals while Nagbar Jamatia, Samar Debbbarma and Prithwiraj Chakma scored the rest.
