Week-long NSS camp was inaugurated at the school premises today at the initiative of the NSS unit of Srirampur Suryamani Memorial High School.
Unkoti District Sports Officer Amit Yadav, Deputy Head of Srirampur Gram Panchayat Sampa Pal, former headmaster of the school Pranoy Kanti Sen, Teachers Council Secretary Ramendra Dutta, and Assistant Headmaster of the school Arindam Sarkar were present on the occasion.
Clothes were distributed among the poor and needy people of the area on the occasion. Special awards are given to different students of the school for their special skills and abilities in various subjects to take the school to the state and national level.
Various guests took part in their discussion about today's event and said that NSS is constantly working for society. Its triumph starts from student life. Everyone in the school is happy with the activities of NSS.
