Two Bangladeshi youths detained at Nutan Bazar

AMAPUR /NUTAN BAZAR:

Police detained two Bangladeshi youths from market of Nutan Bazar Hospital  who entered through broken fencing on last Sunday.

Speaking to media OC of Nutan Bazar Police Station Jatindra Das said that the youths had entered though broken fencing of Indo – Bangla Border on the way of jungle. One youth is Sarnath Tripura son of Biranga Tripura came from Headman Para of Mati Ranga of Bangladesh.

Another youth is Rumen Chakma, son of Barun Chakma and a dweller of Bhagaban Tilla in Bangladesh.

They went to the house of Sukhmati Chakma and Priti Roy Chakma on Friday last. Both of the house owners were migrated to India from Bangladesh before 3 to 4 years. In this connection the youths went to their house.

Meanwhile, Amarpur Court sent them to judicial custody till July 19. Besides police recovered 5500 Bangladeshi currency and Rs. 7500 from the youths.
