Tripura ready to welcome international delegates for G-20 summit at Agartala

AGARTALA:

Tripura is all set to host the first-ever G20 international summit commencing on April 3 next here at Agartala on the theme of ‘Clean Energy for Greener Future’. The summit will last till April 4.

The delegates, who are to land here at Agartala on April 2, are expected to visit several tourist destinations of the state including Albert Ekka Park, Neermahal Palace, Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary, Purbasha and Oxygen Park, said ICA secretary Dr. Pradip Kumar Chakraborty.

The delegates would be received and welcomed at the Governor’s residence for a dinner under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha. The Chief Minister also consented to meet the delegates in the State Guest House on April 2 and later the Chief Minister would grace the venue at Hapania as the chief inaugurator for the largest exhibition for G – 20 delegates that will showcase more than 55 stalls.

Chief Minister Dr. Saha with the Council of ministers would welcome the delegates at a gala dinner at Ujjayanta.

The State Administration has taken several initiatives to beautify the city for welcoming the G-20 delegates. Statue of late Indian music director and singer and also the member of Tripura royal family S D Barman have been installed at Albert Ekka Park . Other beautifications include beautification at Albert Ekka Park, construction of musical fountain at Kumaritila and beautifying the Ujjayanta Palace and Neermahal Palace.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Saturday inaugurated the newly installed light and sound show at Neermahal Palace at Melagarh.

Pakistan ISPR’s web of lies exposed; used Chinese drones, fabricated chats, invented stories to blame India
