Tripura on Tuesday reported 431 new COVID-19 cases, with the tally mounting to 1,05,258, a health department bulletin said.
The death toll rose to 924 as one more person succumbed to the infection in the last 24 hours, it said. Tripura now has 2,310 active patients, and most of them are undergoing home quarantine.
However, out of the 431 total new positive cases, the West Tripura district is leading with 11 cases, followed by South Tripura district with 94 cases, 60 cases in Gomati district, 46 cases in North, 42 cases in Unakoti, 38 in Dhalai, 27 in Sepahijala district and the rest 24 in Khowai district, it said.
The state government has already issued an advisory in a bid to prevent the rising infection trend and urged people to adhere to COVID appropriate behaviour.
